Why We killed FUTA Formal VC - Suspects

Yemi Bamitale and Daniel Ita are the domestic staff of the former Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Akure, Professor Albert Ilemobade, who confessed that they conspired and killed their boss.
While Bamitale was a disengaged driver of the late professor, Ita was his security guard.
The two suspects, who were paraded by the Ondo State Police Command in Akure monday, said the plot to kill the octogenarian was hatched a day before the unfortunate incident.

Discriminate People Living With HIV, Go To Jail…

WITH commencement of implementation of Ondo State government’s HIV Anti-stigma Law, a 10-year jail term, fine of N500,000 or both awaits anyone, who transmits the virus to another person.
Giving details of the law which was signed last year, the Secretary to the State Government, Aderotimi Adelola, stated that  the stigmatisation and discrimination discourages individuals infected with and affected by HIV from accessing health and social services, hence, the law stipulates further that  anybody who discriminates against people living with disease commits an offence and is liable to fine of N100,000.00 or imprisonment of six months or both.

Ex-FUTA VC, Ilemobade Found Dead In His House

The dead body of a former Vice Chancellor of FUTA, Professor Albert Ilemobade, who was said to have been kidnapped, has been found in his house at Ijapo in Akure, Ondo State capital on Sunday morning. According to a family source, Professor Ilemobade’s driver and gateman killed the former University Don in his house and made away with his Toyota SUV.
