The Walking Dead Season 5 Is Set To Be Released On October 12... Watch Out!

The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 1 Release Date and Trailer - Producer Says By Minute Two Or Three of Episode 1, Questions In People's Minds Will Be Answered!
The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 1 release date is set for October 12, Sunday, at the 9 PM time slot on AMC. Filming for the sixteen episodes that will comprise the season is currently underway but viewers can already get a first look at The Walking Dead Season 5 trailer on AMC TV, The
Walking Dead Wiki, Youtube and other popular media sites.
While there is still no official word about the plot line for the Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 1, executive co-producer Tom Luse, according to Wet Paint, teased, "I think our journey this season, especially at the beginning, is going to show the scale of the world that we're living in a way that we haven't done before. That is the most interesting thing. We're showing many aspects of what has been going on for the last couple of years that we haven't had an opportunity to show before."
About The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 1, executive co-producer and writer Robert Kirkman was more revealing. In a talk with Entertainment Weekly, he said: "By minute two or three of our season premiere, I think the vast majority of our questions have been answered, and five or six more have been presented, so you're very much going to be invested, well-informed, and ready for the ride that we're going to take you on." In an earlier interview with the online magazine, Kirkman previously said, "In our premiere episode of season 5 we're going to give a ton of answers of who the people of Terminus are, what they're doing, why they're doing it, what's going on with them. And by the end of that episode you're going to have a much better understanding of what's going on with them and why they're so important to the show." Kirkman also leaked that Rick and the gang will escape. He said, "They definitely get out of that train car. They do not spend the entirety of season 5 in that train car. It is through ingenuity and creativity and somewhat savageness that they are able to make their way out of that train car."
The first few episodes of The Walking Dead Season 5 will take off where the final scene in the finale of Season 4 left. The Terminus folks won't be able to keep Rick Grimes and his gang of fellow survivors held captive inside the train car for much longer. As quipped by Rick during last season's final episode, "They're gonna feel pretty stupid when they find out....they're screwing with the wrong people."Executive co-producer Gale Ann Hurd told Digital Spy, "We heard Rick make that declaration. Now we're going to find out just how badly the Terminans are going to pay... and I think that's going to be a lot of fun!"

But once they get out of the train car and possibly out of Terminus, where will Rick and his people go next? If the events in the comic book will be followed, they will be heading to the Alexandria Safe-Zone, a walled community in Alexandria, Virginia, that that they enter on their way to Washington, D.C. Additional characters from the comic book will be introduced in Season 5 according to Scott Gimple, "The Walking Dead" show runner, possibly including Negan himself, the brutal main antagonist in the comic book series. Morgan Jones (Lennie James) will also return next season. He was last seen in Season 3 still alive in King County.
