Read Why Your Phones Batteries Can Explode In Your Pocket

Smartphone users have been warned by experts to live with the possibility that their phones could explode – on the charger, next to their beds or even in their pockets – at any time without warning.
It could be recalled that on Tuesday, 16-year-old Ina-Chérie Vermaak from Wonderboom South in Pretoria, South Africa was traumatised by the explosion of her Blackberry’s battery in her school bag as she was walking to class. Her school uniform was burnt and she was enveloped in a cloud of

Gunmen Rob Million-Naira Bullion Van

A high-tension armed robbery occurred in Ondo state, during which some dare-devil armed robbers ambushed and disarmed policemen escorting a bullion van and made away with a large sum of money.

According to Vanguard, this happened at about 4pm at Elemoso village in Ondo East Council of Ondo State.

The driver was seriously injured in the attack but the policemen, who fled into a bush when the attack began are yet to be found.

Villagers say they feared that 'Boko Haram had arrived' when they heard the attack.

The State Police Commissioner says he suspects conspiracy in the incident. Mr. Isaac Eke said “the information is still sketchy. We are trying to establish some things because the policemen that escorted the bullion were not booked with the operation unit. This shows that they are on illegal duties.

“The driver of the vehicle has come out of the bush and we are interrogating him. We suspect conspiracy in this matter.

“Our men are still chasing them and I want to assure members of the public that we will apprehend them.”

Law Makers Scaled The Gate To Gain Entrance To The House Of Assembly Complex

However, the 'no entry' plan backfired, leaving in its wake pandemonium as lawmakers, staff and visitors to the National Assembly were forced to inhale tear gas fired into

Omeruo Returns As Oboabona Miss South Africa Match

Stephen Keshi will be without Godfrey Oboabona, when the Super Eagles tackle South Africa on Wednesday, in a quest to qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Turkey-based defender picked up a booking against Congo last Saturday, after the referee harshly punished him for handball in the area and is suspended.
Oboabona joins Hope Akpan on the sidelines. The Reading midfielder dislocated his shoulder against the Red Devils and will miss the game.
However, Keshi will have his defensive partner Kenneth Omeruo, available for selection against the Bafana Bafana. The on-loan Chelsea player missed the match in Pointe-Noire, because of a slight groin problem.
